It is currently being refurbished, it has a long strip of concrete, lined with wave braking boulders. This is where the lakes 3 main boat routes begining, also where the pesenger vessels kept overnight. A good fishing spot and a well kept marina on the other side.

Cozy, quiet place. Only a few boats are rocking moored and the wonderful panorama of the hills.

As a result of an incredibly lucky coincidence, the castle park in Martonvásár, which we originally wanted to visit, was closed in Agárd with the plan that if it happened, we would taste the poppy seed at the little bodega on the way to the pier. All I'm saying is: must-see! There is no proper indicator of how warm-freshly plucked it is! The weather was tolerable, dark and the sky was very cloudy. Suddenly there was a gap in the clouds and he literally dressed in gold the tops of the trees in the path of light! I took one picture after another and I was not alone. But the good came only after that! We walked out to the pier (it was already completely sunken) and there we had a spectacle that we are unlikely to have! I know it sounds like an exaggeration, but those who saw it with me / there was someone else besides us who also didn't win to be amazed and photographed / they must share my opinion! A photograph taken by a layman may not give back the sight in all its beauty, but at least it attempts to conceive of it.
