For a taste of old time opulence this is one of the places to visit in downtown Budapest. We stopped in to have a coffee in their cafe and to wander through the lobby so we could admire the decor. We were not disappointed as everything looked like it came out of the Great Gatsby and the Gilded Age. In a word "Spectacular".

Don't get me wrong, the place is amazing. The building is gorgeous. However, I think they don't really care about their younger guests (?), maybe in their opinion you're not rich enough so you get the worst rooms? I mean, I work for Marriott and I usually stay at their hotels. The Dedica Anthology chain is supposed to be WOW. You can't offer someone stained bed sheets, stained curtains and dirty walls. The Spa experience was lovely though. The staff there were very welcoming and warm.

Me and my husband had the opportunity to stay in this hotel and we had a fantastic time. it was quite a privilege to stay here as we definitely admire the architecture of this historic building. We stayed in the Classic King room and we thought it was lovely and comfortable and spacious. Also I must say all the staff are very nice and helpful. We also made the most of the spa and the staff there are also very helpful. We had breakfast in the New York cafe and we felt so special sitting in the most famous cafe in the most beautiful cafe in the world surrounded by amazing architecture. We highly recommend this hotel especially if it's your first time in Budapest.
