Average hotel located 20 minutes from the city centre. Furniture is old and worn out. Need a refreshment. Breakfast is not good. Fortunately you can sleep because the rooms are quiet.

The Aquincum Hotel Budapest located in a cozy and charming area alongside the River Danube, adjacent to Margaret Island, on the Buda side.

You have friendly and welcoming staff (housekeepers, receptionist, bar tenders, restaurant waitress, SPA receptionists). Smily and friendly staff is not common in Budapest especially when you don’t speak Hungarian, because of this you deserve 5 stars. Staff helped my son getting a screw driver to fix his remote controlled car toy. Thank you! Easy to get to the main locations in the city by tram 1 and Metro. Cleaning is good. SPA is much better than the other famous public ones in the center and its included in the room price. -minus point, bottom of the pools could be cleaner. Jacuzzi was broken for a week during Xmas holidays. Solarium is there but not available for unknown reasons.

A modern Spa hotel on the Buda side of Budapest named after the ancient Roman town that was here. It has a lovely Spa with swimming pool and hot thermal pools as well as hot tub, steam rooms, sauna and gym.

Great location to the city. Far away from the morning traffic jam but close enough to be able to walk to the city at night. The spa here is clean and has 3 pools. 2 warm and one swimming 25m pool. Sauna and Jacuzzi are also on site. My favorite thing about this hotel is the variety you have on your breakfast choices. Rooms are spacious and clean. Extra clean sheets are always provided, bath robes and enough towels. I'm frequent to this hotel and the experience has been consistently good throughout the last 3 years.
