Really good 3 course lunch deal! The Hungarian wholesome food warmed us up this cold afternoon. Will definitely go back again to try some other dishes on their extensive list of options.

Composer Zoltán Kodály lived in the four-room corner apartment on the ground floor of the house from 1924 [1] until his death (1967). On the wall of the house, from Körönd, the bronze relief of Tamás Vígh reminds of this. His apartment was later converted into a museum. Some of the rooms have been preserved in the Kodály period, e.g. the salon with a 19th century atmosphere, where Zoltán Kodály received the dearest guests and musicians coming to the rehearsal. Mária Basilides, Set Svanholm, János Ferencsik and Erzsi Török tried in Kodály's reception room, but Yehudi Menuhin, Aram Hacsaturján, Szigeti József, Pablo Casals, Leopold Stokowski tried here. The innermost room was the study, with a carved desk and a huge library, some folk instruments and sound recorders evoking the memory of folk song researcher Kodály. The other two rooms feature a rich legacy and a chamber exhibition entitled A Look at the Creative Workshop.
