Price of entrance is 2000 Huf but it can be only be made meaningful if you purchase the audio guide for 700 more which definitely lifts the whole experience By and large a waste of money, seriously wrong given that Liszt himself was a guy who gave away all his stuff after death and even the audio guide admits that the fact most of the stuff is in the museum is due to the generosity of the people who inherited what Liszt gave I am a huge fan of Liszt and Wagner this experience was necessary for me but I do not recommend apart from die hard fans and people who collect dead bodies, you know who you are 😆, people who would be interested in the last shirt worn by a dead guy more than a century ago

Larger than expected (4 rooms) with a really interesting audio guide and informative texts and objects. Took us about 2,5 h to see and hear everything.

At first, we had decided to go to the Opera but it was in renovation and after some thoughts, had opted for this museum. It was cosy and incredibly educational, the pianos were in view and the original pieces used by the composer could be seen. Incredible service, we were welcomed by a couple of Hungarian ladies who were eager to help us (one of which spoke french and was happy to help us). I’d recommend going in early in the afternoon to hopefully see a performance/concert given in the stage (piano).

A lovely small museum which is totally worth visiting by anyone who loves Liszt's music and wants to get to know him more intimately. Despite the fact that only 3 rooms are preserved and opened to the public, there are a few pretty cool and famous objects on display: Liszt's music stand featuring Beethoven, Schubert and Weber, his pianos and his composing desk with retractable keyboard. There is a free cloakroom downstairs, so you will be able to leave all your luggage. Overall a charming little place!

The museum is organized in three small rooms with not much in it. The price of the ticket is 2000 HUF per person. Which is a lot considering what I saw. I wouldn't go back and I wouldn't suggest it to anyone.
