Although a small museum, the artifacts and displays are well maintained, all information is in English (along with Hungarian, of course), staff is very friendly and the garden at the back is beautiful.

I appreciated the enthusiasm and pride that the staff displayed in their modest museum. The gentleman who offered a Hungarian-language tour on 5 July 2019 provided some great insight and additional information. I think that without him, my experience at the museum would have been much less memorable. Do check out their lovely garden after you have seen the small exhibit.

It could be interesting place if you like Asian arts, mind you, it is a small collection and just gathered in no specific order. The location of the museum is very beautiful.

Unfortunately only a fraction of the huge, huge collection can be exhibited in poorly illuminated vitrins. The villas size limits everything. Although the staff is very knowledgable, very helpful, but they cant make miracle. Dont miss the oriental garden.
