Customer service curtailed in communism. Strict user rules, high overdue fines, no overdue notice. All too Eastern European.

All the books I need can be found (there are few foreign language books). However, my problem is that a lot of books are outdated, old date and that unfortunately they only have 1-1 copies of each book. It’s a shame there are books that people don’t bring back and people have been out for 1 month :(. But the enrollment fee is relatively cheap and librarians tend to be nice.
