Arboretum Hotel-Harkany

Lovely place near to everything. Basic IKEA rooms freshly redone. Spotless clean. Own balcony and the nights are so dark you need no window blinds. Breakfast isn't much but the perfect choices are on display. A little bit of everything. Free coffee, tea and fruits really available all day.

Family friendly. Quiet. :) Piecefull. :)

The hotel is a pleasant walk from the spa, its immediate surroundings are very friendly, surrounded by shady trees and a park. There is a large parking lot behind the building. The interiors of the hotel are clean, the restaurant is spacious, although without heating it was a bit cold. During the renovation, this space also received a youthful design, as the rooms, chairs are comfortable, the tables are stable. Unfortunately there is no casting, the staff did not know what drinks to choose from it was quite a negative, about the food later. The pictures of the rooms are very well done, showing a little more than they are live. The temperature was warm enough, this is usually rare in hotels. There are only 11 stations on the TV but the transmission is terribly bad, grainy and the switch didn't work properly, but not primarily a guest arrives at the hotel to watch TV. The amount of breakfast is adequate, the cold cuts are not very good, but the hot breakfasts are acceptable. Dinner leaves something to be desired ... The canteen is super level, but unfortunately it doesn't hit the bar compared to a hotel. The quantity is adequate, but the way the food is prepared, served and served raises questions. With the exception of a red-haired breakfast / maid lady who was very kind and knowledgeable, she was certainly overwhelmed by the multitude of tasks, reception, service, tablecloths, dishes, so she can't apply general etiquette ... In total, we paid around 40,000 HUF with drinks and half board (we caught a 2 + 1 night promotion for weekdays in October) for 2 people for 3 nights, which is a very good value for money so I'm not complaining, but the pictures speak for themselves. I do not recommend the hotel for demanding young people due to the care. Anyway, we were absolutely satisfied with the location and cleanliness, but we wouldn't go back.
