Absolutely awesome place to eat. I have eaten probably my best ever bean soup and fish soup as well here. The prices are high but so is the quality. If you are anywhere around here, visit because it's worth it. Some dishes on the menu card can not be ordered t given times because quality material can not be purchased. I think this says it all about the quality.

This is not even 5 star, but 6, if it would be possible. The whole place is really authentic, has this unique and real Hungarian feeling, without being too much. Every item seems to be an original one, from hundred years ago. The service is very professional, they are kind, joking around, but still behaving semi-formally. The food is one of the best I have ever had in Hungary. Try their local goulash with their home-made bread, it is an epic combo. They have chicken, fish, pork, beef foods, every portion is big enough to get full. There is a great selection of local wines as well. I tried the "krémes" dessert, it was amazing. The prices are higher than at other places around, but it is fully understandable, given the quality. You can pay by card, there are lots of parking spots available. If you are there, visit the horses behind the building, also, of you are lucky, you can meet a really big goose here - he is a little hostile, but not attacking you directly, just behaving like the owner of the place :) There is also a playground for children here.
