Hotel Thermal-Harkany

The hotel is mediocre, and the 4-star is about 2-star more than it deserves. The building is quite in a bad shape, pieces of the wall came off inside the rooms. The pool was okay, but really nothing special and the bubble bath and all other water amenities were out of order. Spa complex equipped with two working spa-rooms. Dinner is like in a regular school diner, nothing bad, but easy to forget. Breakfast is plenty and fresh. Room service and bar are extremely expensive for a hotel so remote and simple. If looking for time travel, you will survive this place but if you would like to explore the region, you’d better of in a small and well-run B&B or in a newer hotel.

Hotel infrastructure need some new investments. The swimming pool and spa are ok. Hotel stuff need to learn some english words.

Quiet hotel with its own thermal spa, a decent restaurant with good wine selection, cozy cocktail bar, nice staff. Simple design, comfortable rooms, closed parking place, for moderate prices.

Good hotel with nice swimming pool. Very tasty food in halfboard. Harkany in the rain are boring place. 2days was enough.

i gave 2 stars as this hotel is closer to a 2 star standard than to the 4 star. it is a time travel: a recently refurbished reception gives you false impression, then as you go deeper the rooms and the wellness area looks like it's from the 90's. the standard rooms are basic and weary. at least the outdoor sauna gives you a treat.
