Avar Hotel

After hibernated for years, a legend was reborn. The building went through a complete restoration and opened again in 2020. Recommended place to stay with the family, friends or for business trips. Fine kitchen, clean rooms, and friendly stuff for a fair price. Top wellness services.

Good location, staff friendly. The wellness area is adequate and the food is delicious. The bed could be French, not 2 x 1 pushed together.

You can only make a positive statement about the place. Attention, kindness 5 *. The kitchen is more than good, every day there is some gourmet food by the basics. Unfortunately, the hotel can’t do that for guests who apparently don’t spend their money on culture - a lot of which is because of course they perform it out loud. The starting point for adventures is opposite the hotel. We had a good time in the wellness, maybe in the autumn and winter, when you can't go out, you may get crowded at certain moments.

The hotel is nice, the restaurant is very weak in the gold price of the hotel, the taste, freshness and quality of both the flavors and the food are inferior to the usual bars (with a "fresh" fruit just served). The staff is kind, but mostly inexperienced, unskilled. The wellness is clean and beautiful, but everything outside the Finnish sauna is about 20-25% less than pleasant (jacuzzi, steam, other types of sauna). Rooms are nice and clean.

We spent a few days back in the summer at this reopened hotel. The room and the hotel are spotlessly clean. Parking is difficult due to space constraints. I can’t write much about meals as we just asked for breakfast and we arranged other meals elsewhere. Breakfast is a bit poor and monotonous.
