Atkári Földtani Tanösvény

The special and interesting geological trail in my area is not "five star" due to the lack of accessibility. I wanted to watch it a long time ago, so before my trip I was delighted to see the Great Pathwalking Ceremony on the Internet. I had to find out that there was no problem in publishing the location of the study trail made from about 10 million HUF. Unfortunately, this Hungarian characteristic can be experienced in many places, although without it, the investment is self-serving, as if nobody cares whether or not one looks at it. On the map I was informed in advance and then circled the car for a long time around the site. I went back to Atkar, where a nice local resident explained exactly which dirt road to look for on the trail (where a rusty, drawn barrier is visible). Of course there were no signs exposed here, only after about 100-200 meters did we find the otherwise well-prepared, well-ordered study path with enough information boards. The view of the Mátra, Gyöngyös, Atkár is very beautiful.
