Appropriate medical care for helpful nurses.

The former castle hospital since I know my mind. Lucky building because it survived nationalization in good condition. As a child, we secretly escaped into his garden. Now visiting time at the open gate I walked in to look around. The porter politely but firmly indicated that photography could only be done with the permission of the director. Since then, I have experienced this in several hospitals. I’ve seen this before - once there was a no-photographed sign next to military objects. We thought it was an age symptom, but we have improved a lot since then. Even our hospitals are secret.

Gerliczy is one of the oldest owner families. In 1804, the Kláraffalvi and Plank border was purchased from the Treasury in the plank area. Ferenc Gerliczy built a palace (main building) that houses part of the hospital in 1884 in eclectic style, with the donation of the married Baron Gizella Fejérváry, designed by Ferenc Arleth. Gerliczy was a Member of Parliament from 1911 onwards. The interior walls of the castle were decorated with works of Hungarian painters. In 1928 the Gerliczy estate was sold and parceled. In 1929, a ministry for children with tuberculosis was set up by the Ministry of Public Welfare in the castle building. In 1942, the palace was added to the new function by adding a floor. II. the institute was severely damaged during World War II. The intact part of the building was converted into a children's home where Jewish children were sheltered. Today the building has been rebuilt thanks to its many rebuilds, most of which can be seen inside the building, which has become hospital-like. After nationalization, in 1948 the sanatorium was reorganized by the Ministry of Health into the Csbtbc Medical Institute. In 1969 the Csongrád County Council declared the bone TB medical institution a pulmonary medical institution. From 1972, a special lung care clinic in Csongrád County was operating in the building. In 1995, the institution was renamed the Csongrád County Municipal Hospital for Chest Diseases. From 1989, the Department of Pulmonary Medicine, University of Szeged, was established here under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Pál Kraszkó. Former directors of the Institute are commemorated on a plaque next to the main entrance on the inner river. The hospital area is surrounded by seven hectares of beautiful park, the foundations of which were laid back during the Gerliczy family. The park has unique and protected peduncle oaks, decorative sculptures (by Imre Varga, Károly Vass and Ferenc Kovács), as well as a beautifully designed lake providing a magnificent sight for the strolling visitor and providing relaxation for the patients. Thanks to the owner and the user, the condition of the building is in good condition, inside and out tidy and clean. The park is tidy, and despite the winter, the park is accessible. The park has luminaires and benches with a uniform look. A direct passage to the church adjacent to the building was provided.

Several times I lay in the Department of Pulmonary Medicine, the doctors and nursing staff are polite. I also go to the cardiology department to check in. There are also polite helpful doctors and the whole staff. They also belong to the University of Szeged. Patients with heart disease are treated on the 1st floor and lung diseases on the 3rd floor, and post-operative treatment is also provided here. The Hospital is famous for its economical operation. Here it can be said that there are workers for the patients.

You can heal here in a wonderful and calm environment. The institution is surrounded by a huge park with a small pond and wild ducks. Even in high summer heat, it is relatively cool. Friendly and kind staff. The wards are relatively spacious, but the interior design and equipment are outdated. It would really fit a complete renovation. Wash basin and shower are only in the hallway and there is no obstacle free movement at all levels with damaged wash basin.
