This is the main post office in Szeged city centre. It's located on the corner of Széchenyi Tér (the park side), which joins up with Kiss Menyhért Utca and Nagy Jeno Utca. On the far corner of the same building, on the junction of Széchenyi Tér and Deák Ferenc Utca (going towards the Belvárosi híd - Downtown Bridge) is the sorting office. This is where you collect "I missed the postman" parcels and letters from, as well as your address card from Budapest. On the two occasions I had to visit the place, to sign for recorded delivery letters, I found the fluent English speaking staff very polite and helpful. Now I use this post office to pay my Szeged apartment bills, as it's open til late.

Just a post office. Usually you have to wait to do your thing.

In the past, shipments were even delivered, today they don’t! I have to pay attention on the net to where the package is going and then I can run into the big post for it. I advertised that I was at home, but they should have at least one notification: 99% of them got the same fake, template answer as an acquaintance with whom I also have the same. They don't even care ...

Due to the epidemic situation, the line is meandering on the street, which would not be a problem yet, but if one person coordinated the line, the service could go four times faster. They ask you to come up with common sense, Dear ones, what will be here at Christmas ??

The quality of services is below criticism. It is outrageous how much they are not interested in the opinion and satisfaction of customers. Unfortunately they are now open until 6 pm, which turns out that the person bounces off the closed door after work, there is no ordinary reason for the previous closure, because many people are lined up on the street in a row before 6, I don't know what was wrong with the 19 o'clock, he believes there were many customers even then. Where is this personal contact reduction? Everyone has to go to work! The postman doesn't do his job properly either, he often doesn't throw in a notice, or he throws it in the mash, or he's late, and when we were at home it turned out that he didn't ring and he wanted to go down the parcel. They pretend we are not turned for them. Making a complaint makes no sense, a meaningless prospectus is the answer, but no change is made.
