Roosevelt téri halászcsárda

The photos of the green interiors are old and doesn't show the present anymore. Nevertheless, we were asking if we can eat inside, bcoz the wind was already cold outside. They didn't want us to sit inside, only outside. We left without having spent our money there.

If you want to have a real Szeged fish soup, this is the place to go. Huge portions, fast and affordable. Good for a quick visit or 3 course meal.

Tried their signatue catfish fishsoup. The portion is gigantic, it's easly enough for 2 even though it's a soup. Tastes absolutely traditional and phenomenal. As it supposed to be. A must try for halászlé.

The food was pretty good, but not awesome. But just before we were about to pay with credit card, the waiter said very rudely 'leave the tip for me on the table before you leave' and left. I found this quite rude and of course he got a very small tip for that.

Clean and quiet restoraunt. Good food. Very large portions. Staff is polite. Price is maybe higher than average price.
