Eger Archiepiscopal Palace Turistical and Visitor Centre

A must see when you are in Eger and have interest for historic sites. This still active bishop's palace has a great collection a proper English audio tour and is very well maintained. The very 'non-commercial' attitude is refreshing. The museum café under the arches serves very affordable good espresso.

This is a beautiful place, I can only recommend it to everyone. If this is what you are doing, be sure to take the time to watch it! It is also worth visiting here with family, all ages will like it, from children to the elderly. I recommend you spend more time here, but if you only have half an hour, it’s still worth a look.

I lived in Eger for years, I was sorry that this wonderful garden could not be visited. It has finally opened! Wonderful! Very quiet, calm, pleasant. Not crowded, worth a visit.

We visited the Archbishop's Palace with 3 grandchildren after a tour of the Magic Tower at the opposite university. The palace is equipped with modern interactive technology, which is also interesting for children. The rooms are decorated with period furniture, seeing the archbishop's sacred jewels, paintings and the whole life-size archbishop's procession. The palace has a good cafe.

A beautiful exhibition, with an unparalleled rare check out, unique relic pointers in them with relics of saints. Don't miss the patisserie with its uniquely delicious Trühmer cookies. And special recognition for service and courtesy! 🙏👍 ♥ ️🤗🌷 Stay like this! 😁
