The history of stained glass begins in medieval Christian churches, the role of window openings is appreciated, it not only provides light but also serves as decoration. The church is a sacred place where everything serves the spiritual life of the believer. Disturbances from the outside world had to be ruled out. The window lets in light and is a surface where the stories of faith, the Bible, are told for teaching purposes - it also served as a decorative surface. Through the stained glass, the light painted the interior of the church in a gorgeous colorful atmosphere. Their purpose was only decoration at first, the window consisted of carpet-like small pieces of mosaic, it also had a figural representation, but that was not important. Thick lead frames were used, they worked with little color, the base colors were used mainly: red blue green. The history of stained glass is not very well known before 1000 AD, only a few written relics of colored glass windows have survived.
