How to get there: About Bakonybél approx. Starting at 3.5 kilometers from Emil Meadow, you can reach the hiking trail along a beautiful light route, along the blue cross. By car (starting from Szombathely) we recommend the Celldömölk-Pápa-Bakonykoppány route. Passing through the latter settlement, the road sign indicates Hubertlake (right). If the forest road barrier is open, then it is bordered by a wooden fence from the left, at first it is crushed, and then we can run through the carriageway by car to the key house. From here you can see the lake at 700m, which is followed by a well-marked lake tourist sign. In the vicinity of Bakonybél, an artificially swollen pond hides in the valley, which is also known as Hubertlaki Lake and Bakonyi Killer Lake. The latter was named after his "big brother", the Transylvanian Lake of Transylvania, because the water-flooded area also shows the trunks of trees, which makes the lake really exciting. At the confluence of the Haméki-séd and the Szalai-Séd, in the valley of the Somberek Sed, the Hammock-meadow hides as a small clearing. Here, in Hubertlak, there was once the bunker hunting castle of Count Hunter Count Eszterházy, the hubertlak hunting castle. However, in the second half of the 1900s, the picturesque building became a waste of flames in a fire. Not far from it, a small pond, artificially swollen by the lake, hides in the Hubertlak Lake, whose shimmering water is interrupted by the stumps of flooded trees protruding from the lake. The lake was once a cavernous place, witnessed by the dead faces of the water. The place's silence and charm are worth paying for the memory of Saint Hubertus, a holy patron of hunters, for over a thousand years. The water in the lake is very clean, there are steamy and other rare amphibians around. Hubertlak was the hunting castle of the Esterházy family, which burnt down and now houses the key house operated by the forestry. There are benches and fire places around the lake.

Pleasant place to get to "unfortunately" by car. There is a bacon and a lot of bears in the spring.

Easy to walk from the drifting car park 😊 a slow pace is just 1 hour to the lake.

The uphill road was beautiful in autumn. Great tour route. The lake itself is no wonder. Instead, it's a moon like a lake. The environment is a miracle. It is worth visiting.
