You can learn about history and have fun - medieval style clothing is available to try. Good fun with kids. Also the exhibition is interesting and you can have a nice walk around. Atmosphere is friendly and the castle hosts many cultural activities during the year. The most popular is the "Siege days" in August.

Beautiful castle with lot of interesting things to see for all age groups. Probably the only place where you can still handle old guns. The castle is open on Mondays in peak season!

Nice place to visit if you are interested in the local and national history in Koszeg. Be aware that there are some areas where you can't take pictures. Mostly of the artefacts.
