Our experiences and tips for other mourners:
- order the coffin, headboard and more from elsewhere after an internet search! They are too expensive here.
- Check your bills before you pay. We also found several misplaced products
- You can pay with a credit card, you don't have to withdraw hundreds of thousands from the bank. Unfortunately, we could not because the clerk could not use the bank terminal.
I don’t write posts often, but it deserved it: We had an extremely bad experience with this company, and most of all with a replacement (!) Clerk named Brigi working for the company (beware, he also replaces Kerepes and Pécel). An inattentive and inexperienced subordinate, though he claims to have worked here for a long time. We asked for a price calculation that he was unable to make. He claims you can’t give a calculation (which isn’t true) and that only after paying the full bill will we know what it cost. After we applied for the pre-calculation again, he began to list numbers with a hack, sigh, and nervousness as if we were at his expense. The next day it turned out to be due to the buyer before calculation, payment.
We were just checking the bill before payment when the lady snatched the papers from my hand and told me to just sign the last page. After I asked the invoice back to finish the check, I noticed that there were also products on the paper that we said specifically that we didn’t ask for. Also, the lady claimed that it is not possible to pay by card because the card reader is still “in progress”. As an auditor working with many tax auditors, I found it particularly interesting that the company only accepts cash and also writes invoices as “accidental” aside. At the time of payment, the lady was already dressed, at 15:20, because the bus had gone for her and she used to close early .. forty minutes earlier. That must be good for the business.
Based on a simple internet search, we found out the company sells coffins for more than double the purchase price. Every company benefits from the products it sells, but the net profit of almost 150% is steep, especially compared to Hungarian rural revenues. Of course, the price is not the decision of the clerk, but of the company. With a wider selection and a much more realistic price, we finally found a coffin in a store in Budapest, which was also delivered. On the day the coffin was shipped
we were present in person. The lady sitting in the office, who turned out to be the boss, could have been confused with the courier because she said “you have to watch here because the family is crazy”. After I introduced myself, he was, of course, ashamed of himself, apologizing. So maybe it’s better than talking about us like this before anyone else.
After no longer working with the deputy clerk, the usual clerk was helpful and friendly. Luckily for him, he, not the deputy, took care of things at the funeral.
I don't think the buyer is always right ... except when he really is. In addition, it should be taken into account that the clerk speaks to a grieving family. By the way, if you are about to take 6-7-800 thousand forints from someone, you could at least do it without hacking and tearing the documents out of the buyer's hands, despite the fact that despite my greatest urge, I calmly asked him and thanked him for his help. It might have been annoying to answer that he didn’t understand his job. I’m just sorry we had so much trouble with this when someone else was just pressing our hearts.
It is an inhumane, unprofessional service provider that ignores the feelings of the bereaved.
