Excellent walking location, pleasant short hikes can be done in it. Untouched flora and fauna!

'The valley of the Csömör stream has an area of 27 hectares, protected since 1977 as a county, and is currently of local importance. It is part of the Pest Plain, geographically part of the praematricum. The area consists of two parts: the smaller one is an ancient marsh - the Csömöri lake, the larger one is the Réti dűlő in the Csömöri stream valley. There were several rare, protected moss species on the swamp, including peat mosses in association with other protected plants. Some of them were known only in one or two places in Hungary. In the winter of 1987, many trees, shrubs and valuable herbaceous plants were killed by fire. The ashes of the burned plants "fertilized" the acidic marshland, killing several sensitive moss species. In addition to drought, it accelerated the vegetation of the lake (eutrophication). Regeneration is slow. Presently, the protected marsh fern (Thelypteris palustris) grows much of the lake along with broad and broadleaf mites (Typha angustifolia and T. latifolia). On the shore, under the old willows, we can observe the protected marsh grass (Epipactis palustris), the hanging inflorescence fork (Carex pseudocyperus), the pink bloom (Alisma plantago-aquatica). The species Oedogonium inversum Wittrok form subclusum and the microbial Didimella glacialis, which live on the marsh salt leaf, were first described in the lake. On the shore of the lake and the stream flowing through the Réti slope, we can admire the already sparse "spherical" group of willow marsh, which is worthy of protection, as well as the squat ash. horseradish willow (Salix cinerea). The white willow (Salix alba) and the rattlesnake v. willow associations of fragile willow (S. fragilis). The reed (Phragmites australis) forms a reed association along the stream and in some spots with the beautiful Scirpus sylvaticus. On the meadow, the zombie sedge (Carex elata) and the high meadow with the high marsh and coastal sedge (Carex acutiformis and C. riparia) appear in the meadow along the reeds and the shore belt of the lake. In the first third of the protected meadow, we can find thinning associations and diminishing plants of precious, but not inconspicuous beauty. In the marshy marsh we can find the marsh marsh (Carex davalliana), in the marshy marsh we can find the big marsh (juncus subnodulosus), in the moor marsh we can find the sooty moor (Schoenus nigricans) if we have good eyes and good luck. Most of the meadow is occupied by the drying marsh of the blue anthrax, named after its blue-breasted blue dagger (Molinia hungarica). These associations provide protection for many beautiful, protected plants: Fescue Salt (Carex appropinquata), Black Salt (C. nigra), Beef Fescue (Dactylorhiza incarnata), Meadow Fescue (Epipactis palustris), Broad-leaved Feather (Eriophorum latifolium), Hawthorn Orchid (Koiwort) , white liver flower (Parnassia palustris). From early spring to late fall, we always meet with a flower bloom. In April, the sparkling yellow flower of Caltha palustris blooms. In May and June the richest color range is: yellow meadow buttercup (Ranunculus acris), lilac pink meadow carnation (Lychnis flos-cuculi), which opens with the sound of a cuckoo, from white to pink to lilac flesh wool, the striking large white-shrouded angelica (Angelica sylvestris), the pale pink marshmallow, the crimson purple marshmallow, and many more color the meadow. In August, white liver flowers hide modestly between grasses and sedges. '

Nice area, but it is difficult to approach the moor.

Fortunately nobody fell into the water from the trees. Exciting countryside.
