One of the most patriotic universities in the country. I graduated from the engineering faculty 50 years ago. Allegedly, thanks to the mechanical engineers of my age group, this is primarily due to the incredible rise of agriculture. As a machine developer, I added some of my two dozen inventions to the world (eg, I designed the first four-row silage harvester adapter, or the first sunflower harvester with a loss of less than 2%, etc.). The level of education in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is still high, which is also shown by the fact that the number of graduates is roughly one third of the starting number. Quality is also shown by the fact that eg. almost every year, mechanical engineering students bring one of the EU competition podium places.
