The place is good just like the food. Last time they told me I had to wait at least 20-30 mins for the soup alone, that's why I bailed. They have staff issues though, this could be thanks to the management. They do not always like paying attention to guest's needs.

Surprisingly, they write good things about the Guzsu Piccolo Food Bar at all, the reason for which I can only imagine is that there is nothing else in the area or the others don’t even reach this level, although I admit it would be pretty unbelievable if even this standard could be passed down. In any case, this hospitality does not meet the minimum requirements. Their posted offer was also out of touch with reality, thanks to two bites for soup. Instead of non-carbonated water, they brought carbonated, we waited for the uncharacteristic, vegeta-flavored soups for more than half an hour, while others besides us (there were two) waited, and when I talked about the slow service, they didn’t even apologize, although that would have required be able to see through a situation for which, however, not three of them were sufficient to interpret it properly. As for the quality of the main dishes, it was still acceptable, but probably only because the pre-frozen french fries, the fried zucchini (while there was also no squash) and the salad simply had nothing to spoil. The coffee was thin and lukewarm, and the monotonous, unsmiling portrayal of the staff is worthy of the circumstances, which I suspect is also a completely natural element in expecting the guest to pay for it without presenting the itemized bill. At least I had to ask for this separately. I often turn up at restaurants, but I haven’t encountered a service below such criticism in a long time. There is a clear lack of culinary intelligence, knowledge, quality ingredients in this place, to mention only the most basic expectations. In summary, this is a pub, in the true sense of the word, nothing more, so you shouldn’t expect any more from this place, and then there’s nothing left that could disrupt the order of the world.

One of my favorites in Salgotarjan! Homemade flavors, good value for money, nicely renovated, springtime with a very nice terrace and grill. It shows that the owner gives his soul his heart, a highly recommended category!
