Darázshegyi Apartment Hotel and Cabins

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff are very friendly. Breakfast is included and cooked fresh. Oddly, coffee is not included in the breakfast, only a very sugary tea is included as a beverage. You have to pay extra for a coffee (the coffee is great btw but at least one should be included for free with the breakfast). A sweet option such as pancakes would be a welcome addition to the breakfast menu too. The eggs we got though, were super delicious. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable but the bathroom had an automatic light which was infuriating. It came on whenever we needee to use the bathroom in the night, waking each other up as the light floods the bedroom. It also turns off when you are in the shower if you are still too long. The jacuzzi and sauna were fantastic additions to the property and we really enjoyed those. The property is quiet and tree-covered. The property is located perfectly for hiking in the forest. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but coffee included at breakfast and a light switch for the bathroom would have made it perfect.

If you want fancy, luxury place it's not your choice. If you want a lovely, silent place to relax give it a try. It's a family driven business they are very kind and helpful. The dishes are delicious. The Ski park just 5 minutes away, the Mátra is beautiful.

The area is beautiful, there are many hiking trails, deer roar. In winter, the Szentistván ski resort is nearby. The owners of the pension are very kind and really "host".

It is in a quiet, peaceful place. The environment is very beautiful and cozy. The staff is very kind and willing.

Nice environment, good air, lots of leisure games. The wooden house is spacious, unfortunately there is no mosquito net anywhere so we couldn't ventilate it because of the many mosquitoes. There is strong WiFi, unfortunately the tv didn't work as I indicated but nothing happened. The area is nice, with great hiking opportunities. Please indicate dinner, it is no longer possible to ask on arrival, you can go down to the small restaurants.
