My mother, with the pain of knee surgery performed by another doctor, approached the doctor for correction. We made his choice on the basis of a recommendation from a familiar healthcare professional, as he is considered a recognized authority in these circles.
Although we found posts in several places on the internet that he was very overwhelmed and his work organization was not the most efficient, and in fact he could not finally receive his patients at a pre-arranged time, we thought we had little choice but to wait at most a little more on a list that, however, as soon as we get it, we can get the right care.
Unfortunately, in the end we did not have the opportunity to assess the professional competence of the doctor. After a personal consultation in September, my mother received a promise that the necessary surgery could take place in late October / November. After that, however, communication was no longer so proactive; possible surgical dates always had to be postponed by 1-2 weeks, responses to my mother’s inquiries came days later, and in no case could the deadlines set for feedback be met. Unfortunately, 5 months after the first consultation, we have reached a point where we are already considering the reality of the explanations for the delay and all our confidence in the doctor has been lost.
We are very sorry that this was the case, because we trusted above all that the doctor would be able to help my mother with increasing pain. If you had stated at the outset that the whole procedure could take up to 6-7 months, we would have organized our lives differently and might have chosen a different solution (or admit ad absurdum that in Hungarian health care at the expense of social security). only under such conditions do we receive benefits…). But this attitude, in addition to not being considered fair or patient-friendly, is incredibly dangerous. My mother-in-law can barely walk, she has unbearable pains.
We are confident that the next doctor will be more conscientious.
KB We had a child with a child for a month before surgery. You have given me your private number, I can call this because we live a long way, so we can negotiate. In the first week he picked up, shudderingly shrugged that he did not know what operating position he was getting. We are still in it, we are still talking, of course I tried to look at a date and ask my child to miss a lot from school. He told me to call me on the weekend. He did not even pick up after 4 o'clock. Well, I called it on weekdays, then it was not in a pleasant tone that there was no "such" time, call me on the weekend again. It's time, the kid's jumping feet to walk. When he finally dared to pick up the phone, we came to know that he may still be able to work on December 12 or 14. Here tonight, Dec. 9thminimum 30 we sent out different numbers to see what it was like. I add, I asked for leave, I booked a hotel, my child would not be alone, even in the school. Your professional knowledge might be great, but empathy, and your attitude to a man and your patient is under criticism. I do not recommend it to anyone! It was a big disappointment. Merry Christmas to you, Doctor, if you may read it. A parent.
We were registered at 18:45. When we got exactly there, they said that unfortunately we had to wait because the doctor called 9 people in addition to the appointments and unfortunately was also late about the order. When the assistant opened the door and called four patients, I asked when we would be in line. The answer was pretty much what we were excited about, we had just arrived. I said we had an appointment by now. Dr. told me what he could do if a lot of people came to check. That he had called them all there, he forgot to mention. Meanwhile, a waiting patient told me not to want to get in front of him as he came for five hours. After a quick countdown - that we’re not expected to be in line before half past nine - I said we’d go by the time Dr. “Mr.” said he couldn’t do anything. That's how we came. I think you could otherwise: 1. pay my time and the petrol money back and forth to Budapest (my time is not cheap either, I can prove it), 2 explain if this is a private order, why did they ask for the TAJ number? Maybe they also get reimbursed from the state, and so I pay double as a taxpayer? I respectfully, Tamás Merész
I am most at ease with my spouse and I am very conscientious! I have to wait a lot for it but it's worth it !! But the fact that you have to wait for him is not a coincidence because many people have him because he is a very good doctor !! I did not regret choosing her and I can recommend it to others !!
Thanks to the perfect work of Dr. Abkarovits, I have been able to walk and live properly again since my surgeries in 2000-2001 - there were several types due to my sports injuries. Unfortunately, one writes bad sooner than good. And if only every 100th of his surgeries would write here ... It was well worth it for me to wait for him! I couldn't have run away anyway ;-) So people, if you choose the best doctor, reckon with the fact that you're not alone with that, and yes, you even have to wait for him. But it's worth! He will do everything for Your knees for sure, conscientiously and to the maximum!
That is why I am grateful ever since and I wish you good health, Doctor!
