Hotel Platán

We liked literally everything about our stay. As we travelled by train we appreciated that the hotel is located only 5 minutes away but at the same time it only takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the heart of the town. (There is also a great restaurant very close by in case you don't feel like walking too far.) The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, the room was just big enough, clean and there was plenty of space for our clothes etc. Also the bathroom was very spacious (and it has a hairdryer!). Staff of the hotel was absolutely amazing, during our stay we've met 5 different receptionist and all of them were very nice and helpful. Breakfast exceeded our expectations, it was very tasty and we could choose from a variety of options. You can also buy tickets for the Bory Vár directly at the reception - definitely a place to visit when you're in town. Thank you for making our probably last trip in 2020 so memorable!

I been cheated on. The receptionist charged me too many nights. When I said that, then she suddenly forgot how to speak English (whereas before her English was great)! She charged my credit card before I was even given the chance to see the final invoice! Never seen my money again. Poor service and dirty carpets. Nice comfortable beds and acceptable equipment though...

It is a small hotel with around 32 rooms. Everything looks newly refurbished. All modern and clean. Everything Works. The hotel has own parking lot in the backyard, and ample space. The breakfast is very basic.

Nice and clean, friendly staff, close to old town, enclosed parking. Internet could be faster.

We got degraded to a really small room, from what we ordered which actually looked pretty nice.. but we still have to pay full price, got a soda in discount .. just poor management..
