The pizza's are delicious! Authentic and of a high quality. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Relatively expensive for Budapest standards, but not unusual in this part of the city. Highly recommended.

It's a restaurant located next to basilica. On the inside it's was surprisingly open and light. There's an open kitchen so you can see everything. The food was great and we price was what you would expect.

I arrived in Budapest around 10pm, almost all restaurants closed to my hotel were closed, until my wife and I found Akademia Italia Budapest. Is funny to travel to Hungary and in the very first day have Italian food, however it was so delicious that we came also two days after. Totally recommend it, very fast service, tasty food and a really cool location.

A wonderful place, more like an indoor market place, tastefully decorated and with plenty of Italian delicacies to discover and enjoy. When you're at the Basilica, this place is a must-see :)
