We have made a very pleasant trip to Geresdlak (Baranya County) recently. Multiethnic Village: In addition to Swabian roots, more Finnish families have recently bought houses where their first task was to build a sauna. Thus, in Hungary, the number of saunas per capita is the highest in Geresdlak. . The town draws attention to several sights. The best known of them is the Steambomb Festival, which is held every September. Thousands of people visit here for the festival. In addition to the German Nationality House, we visited the Gingerbread Exhibition, where we saw a traditional village of gingerbread made from gingerbread. The Baby Museum is also very spectacular. The babies here present everyday human activities, so we can see several agricultural work, grape harvesting, pig cutting and corn spreading from the school lesson to the wedding. The gingerbread village and the exhibits of the Baby Museum were made by locals with surprisingly high skill and good taste. We looked at the shoulder and wall scarf presentation, the old tablecloths and carpets. We found out from the information board in the village center that Antal Szklanitzky, architect, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, the Csokonai Theater in Debrecen, the Vörösmarty Theater in Székesfehérvár, the Budapest Animal and Plant Garden and many other famous buildings were born here. As the end of our trip, our hosts waited for us with a delicious lunch, which did not miss the famous steamball. It was really delicious, nobody would leave who's here.
