a beautiful memorial for the deported jewish citizens of the neighbouring cities, within the ruins of the former synagogue. call the number to enter, a helpful lady from the next house let visitors in. especially touching by night with the lights.

Unfortunately we couldn’t go in, so we didn’t take a close look either. We were struck that the inscription on the plaque could only be read in Hebrew and Hungarian. Not in Hungarian.

Special place. Worth a look in the evening too! Dear lady opened the gate for us, she also told me about the place, old people she still knew.

The caretaker kindly opened the memorial site, ready to serve.

Special hey. It touches history, the familiar names engraved in the wall .... A beautifully made memorial.
