Borostyán Med Hotel

The perfect castle experience in Hungary! Enormous interior, very stylish, huge fireplace, lions, beautiful garden, clean rooms, friendly staff, great wellness. I have been to 100+ hotels in HU, this certainly belongs to top3.

In 1920 it might have been great bravado to display two dead/taxidermied lions right at the entrance, but in 2020 its just simoply tastless and barbaric. The owner should keep his “hobby” to himself. Good food, nice staff and decent spa though.

Very beautiful, air conditioning was not working tho! The Food was awesome.
