Szentes in the XX. In the first half of the 19th century, it was a market town in the Southern Great Plain with a population of 30,000. In 1930, more than a third of its population lived on homesteads. The farm in Szentes is a grain-producing and animal-keeping, representing an extensive type of farm. The adobe-walled, thatched-roofed building has a room-kitchen-pantry-barn layout. Its open chimney kitchen was built in the XX. In the first decades of the 19th century, it was attic and a stove was built in it. Between the two wars, plank-side, tiled roof eaves were built in front of the house. Its furnishings document the home culture of the first half of the 1970s. On the back wall of the kitchen, the curved, baroque-style archway, which we recently saw in several houses in the Great Plain, is untouched. The family ate at the table in front of the store. In the inner corner of the kitchen is the cassava or almar, behind the door is the cantilever, with tiles and silk on it. The room opens from the left, the house in the language of the elderly. Of the furnishings of the chamber, it is worth mentioning the carved chest of engraving made in 1911, which was called a "cabinet". Lately, leftovers have been put in it, bastards full of milk to keep the cat out of it. The ancient element of the chamber is the teak placed in the blind window. A half-roofed shed (car color) was built at the end of the house, where a plow, an iron harrow, a windscreen and smaller work tools can be seen next to the peasant car. The farm is an 8-10 acre small peasant farm in the Black Land. Its characteristic structure is the stack-shaped pen, in which pigs or poultry were usually kept.
