Platan Park Hotel

Stayed here for a wedding for a weekend with a large group. We got a corner room, which was gorgeous and bright, especially in the morning. Beautiful, relaxed garden and surroundings. Staff was helpful. Food was a bit too ‘Hungarian-traditional’ for my preferences, but it was tasty. There’s also a wellness center in the other buildings of the complex.

Very nice environment, nicely renovated hotel. The rooms are clean, the staff is nice, very direct. Breakfast leaves something to be desired (it was a drizzle of milk and you had to ask for a separate spoon, who was running out of the cold water dispenser), but dinner was okay (Although the selection isn’t too great.) The wellness wasn’t too great, it was a disappointment. In the description it was that 200m from the accommodation is the Castle in which it is located, which in reality is 400m, which in winter in a bathrobe is quite a lot. The biggest problem was that the hotel didn’t hit the 4 star level.

Beautiful place. The room is nice, clean, tidy. The workers are polite and helpful. The waiters are fast, attentive, the buffet is constantly checked and refilled. The food is plentiful and delicious. The park was well maintained. The wellness area includes 2 outdoor saunas and a swimming pool, indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi + other services. Andi’s sauna session was an experience not to be missed. ☺️ What was a minor problem for us was that the drying of the robes was not solved, there was no separate hanger.
