Herend Porcelain Museum

Attractive museum and art studios. Nice to see how the porcelan is made and painted.

Herendi is not just a porcelain it is a lifestyle. I loved every minute there. The staff is very nice and I can't wait to get back.

Amazing experience. The "mini-factory" tour was an awesome opportunity to see up close how porcelain is made and decorated. Its certainly worth a day trip from Budapest. The factory store may not offer any discounts, but they have an unrivalled selection, which is itself amazing to see. I wish that I had more time, as I was not able to spend much time in the museum, but what I did see, was very interesting.

Amazing price of art and a must visit.. it's a high end... extremely expensive to buy even the smallest porcelain stuff.

The museum showcase the porcelains manufactured in Herend throughout the centuries, with the emphasis on some highlights such as the Victoria collection. The manufacture visit is more interesting with the insight of the production process. Too bad that the final coffee or tea is forgettable in the mediocre interior and badly serviced café.
