Good place and quick

We have been using Sixt for at least 26 years, maybe more. These past few years, however, it doesn't matter what kind of car we ask for or which country we ask for it in, they promise one thing and give us something else, and the something else is always an "upgrade." This time we were supposed to get a VW Golf, I think, and instead we were upgraded to a Ford Mondeo, which was exactly one meter too long to be useful or easy to maneuver if you aren't on a highway or have to make a sharp right into a narrow street. The staff is almost universally kind and courteous, although some of them are a bit impatient and seem to think you are there to serve at their pleasure. Basically it is a car rental company you can trust. We have rented with them in Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Austria and have never had any trouble.
