Gödörházi harangláb

If not as famous as e.g. the punk, but it’s also a very nice belfry if you’re walking, worth a look!

This belfry is a beautiful copy of the many Őrség belfries. It is located on the route of the Southern Transdanubia Blue Tour. Unfortunately there is no resting place nearby.

The Reformed monument belfry was made in 1790. After Pankank, this is the oldest belfry in Őrség. The “skirted” wooden shingle building was made by a noble carpenter. His height was limited by imperial decree. It was first restored in the 1970s and then in 1998. The skirted, tiled building was made by a noble carpenter. The four-columned belfry was built on soles, its soles tapped into a crown holding the corner columns of the "skirt." The columns of the tower are held together by a wreath, on which the rafters of the tower helmet rest. Under the helmet is the bell.

It is good to be attentive to and cherish these treasures. Worth a look!
