Fonte Hotel and Restaurant

The breakfast buffet is excellent and the restaurant staff are beautiful and accommodating people who want to please. (We were especially impressed by Judith who was so very sweet and kind to us every day we were here). But the room we stayed in was not very big at all. It could fit one person comfortably but two people is a bit small. Not much in wall decor, white walls needs some repainting. In comparison to our other family members who stayed in a much more elegant room, ours was definitely not the same in size, appearance and roominess. The shower was tiny and the shower head is not the greatest. Not much room at all to put your toiletries away in the bathroom. I had to keep my toiletries in my suitcase. One postive thing I could say about this room is that at least it had an air conditioning unit. If I were to come back and stay here, I would definitely ask for a bigger room and make sure it had an air conditioning units that works. The cleaning staff were also very friendly and did a good job at keeping the place clean.

A stylish hotel in the historical downtown of Gyor. It's got some really interesting architecture on the outside as well as the inside, but navigating your way to some of the rooms can be a bit confusing. Rooms are spacious and comfortable (with a surprisingly fast internet connection, for free), but there was a lot of dust buildup in places and the room didn't feel very clean. Parking seems to be the biggest problem - the hotel doesn't seem to have nowhere near enough guest parking spaces!

Very good hotel. Rooms are large, clean and bright. Excellent breakfast in their fine restaurant. Very pleasant, helpful staff. Highly recommended.
