Waited 30 min to make a payment when a lady (whom I had done transfers in english before) decided that she doesn't speak english anymore and apparently nobody else in the bank did. If you're not Hungarian do not waste your time in that bank

Angolul NEM! I went to the store to ask for a bank statement (a job that shouldn't take more than 5-10 mins) I made a mistake.. I selected "English" in the ticketing machine. I waited for 30 mins in an empty store (2 desks where available without customers) hoping that someone would pick the ticket, but no.. nothing. nada. In the meantime all Hungarian customers who came after me where getting serviced. I then realized that they don't want to pick up the "angolul" ticket, so I selected the "magyarul" and surprise surprise, they picked up the ticket immediately. They lady who handled my case, told me that she is not speaking very well - however she could do the job. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT IN 2020 A 30 YEAROLD BANK EMPLOYEE WITHIN AN EU COUNTRY IS NOT SPEAKING ENGLISH? WHAT SORT OF JOKE IS THAT? Why do they have "English" in the ticketing machine anyways..
