Atrium Fashion Hotel (4*) recommended this cafe. What a hidden gem. Guest musicians from 8pm. Discreet but professional waiter service. Absolutely amazingly flavoursome meals and deserts. Faultless but I would suggest booking as very busy. Top recommend.

An excellent café-restaurant. Exceptional food at reasonable price, cozy atmosphere, welcoming personnel who provide hospitable service, express real interest in the quality of ordered dishes, and require no service charge, unless the guest sees fit to it. The unexpected attraction of all? The three member jazz company, whose performance on a theatrical stage is by far unique and beyond all expectations. When in Budapest, avoid missing out on it!

We spent this time 4 days in Budapest. As always when we visit here we are looking for Hungarian traditional food. This time it was the best choice by far. A bit more expensive than the others we tried but much better. We came for a dinner and live Jazz music and enjoyed very much the combination.

Cuisine is excellent, as are the wait staff. A solo diner, I was well seated and attended. Vocalist and accompaniment excellent. The price is so reasonable. The atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable. One would not find this valuable experience anywhere in the states. Perfect!

As we love Hungarian food and Budapest lifestyle, but life in Amsterdam, we visit Budapest at least 6 times or more per year. Since last year we found out about Lado and we try to have dinner once per trip. The atmosphere is from the good old days with amazing Hungarian food and staff is super friendly and professional. Next to amazing food and good wines, there is live music which will bring that extra ‘thing’ to a wonderful dining experience in Budapest. Highly recommended and nagyon finom
