Ambra Hotel

A lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Budapest that we were lucky enough to stay at for a weekend (a very fortunate Business trip!). It has great facilities, very comfortable and clean and we were even upgraded on arrival to the 'luxury suite', which was fantastic! A top star breakfast with a chef who even made us pancakes, alongside the huge selection available. The only downside was when we has to check-out! We will certainly be back when COVID has left once and for all! Thank you guys!

Great hotel. Cleam. Warm. Great breakfast. Price for 1 night was around 38 euro. But no privat parking. There is parking free zones on the street or protected parking 300m from hotel.

Upon arrival it is unimpressive. However, once we walked in we were pleasantly surprised and impressed. A gem amongst old buildings, which are all in the process of being renovated. The hotel is beautiful on the inside. From the time of arrival right to the time we left we had a wonderful experience. The staff were all courteous, friendly, professional and very helpful. The hotel, breakfast area and room was neat and clean. Any issue was immediately resolved. Location is good. It is centrally located. Walking distance to St Stephen’ Basilica and square and Opera House. The hotel offers a variety of services and will help you with what ever you need. Room contains basic necessities and WiFi is available. Good value for money. Gladly recommend Ambra Hotel.

Bad parking accessibility. Bad hotel accessibility trough the one direction streets...

Very close to the city center. Kind and helpful staff. On site private parking, for a daily charge. Underground parking, accesible with an elevator for car, very tight, you need to fold the side mirrors to get in. Even with folded mirrors, there were no more than 1-2 centimeters right and left from the car's sides. Anyway, the receptionist gave me all the instruction to avoid scratching the car while getting in the elevator and out in the underground tight parking. Room was clean and nice. Good coffee at breakfast. Free WiFi.
