This place overall was okay but we waited 40 minutes for our food so if you are in a hurry skip this place. The food was tasty but the toasts were burnt a little, I ordered espresso but instead got cappuccino. It’s nice but there are a lot of better places. :)

We’ve tried here breakfasts options: one with smoked salmon, guacamole and eggs; another one with eggs and bacon.
It was tasty!
BUT I’ve paid additional 500 ft for the ridiculously tinny portion of guacamole (there were 2 small spoons of it. literally.) And additional 500ft for 1 slice of salmon as you can see on the photo.
It’s the only reason why I put 4 stars, not 5.
We also tried cheesecake with caramel and it was really good and yummy!
Coffee is also good!
In general, nice place to have a breakfast or lunch and to drink nice coffee.
It was a nice place and a food was good but took almost 30min to get the cappuccinos and almost 1h to get the food. The barista explained that they were short staffed at the time.
Me and my wife are breakfast and brunch fanatics! We are always trying to find the very best places in every city/country we are traveling to. Vinyl & Wood is without a doubt our choice for Budapest.
The place is beautiful and cozy. You can find super cool and trendy variety of the Eco-friendly accessories at the store ground floor.
The owners are enthusiastic, friendly and professional. The coffee is probably the best you can get anywhere in the center. Full bodied, strong with a twist of caramel. Delicious!
We had our breakfast and brunch here everyday in our last three days and we tried the Croque Monsieur, the scrambled eggs, the home made granola and the salad.
The food is fantastic, balanced, generous and tasty.
Our only regret is that we didn’t discover this place earlier.
