Badly organised post office.Always crowded, underpaid people behind the desks. Last breath of Communism. Avoid if you can. Use xanax :)

This is a full service post office where you can send and pick up packages among other things. They're pretty helpful there, and some people can speak a bit of English.

For a delivery fee of HUF 4,000, one would expect the parcel postman to ring at least when there are several of us at home! I only learned from the tracker that he took it back for a second delivery. Gls, Dpd, foxpost, any company is able to pick up the package the working day after dispatch, for half as much, except for Hungarian Post. This was not the first time! It may not be the insurance that should be enforced, but the standard of delivery! Everyone would do better. Uncritical service in all areas, at horror prices.

The attitude of the employees is under criticism. At a cattle farm, this behavior may be acceptable, but not at a service company where you are for us, not the other way around.
