SPAR szupermarket

Unfortunately I've bought a remarked chicken-meat. Under the spar's tag I've found an originally warranty - which is expired. Also the flesh was smelly. Never again. I don't recommend.

Fairly good assortment, high quality, clean store, friendly employees (not all!). Fresh and quality meat, nice and cheap private label products. Compared to the Hungarian-owned, old-fashioned competitors (CBA, Reál, Coop) Spar is always the best choice: you can find a little piece of Western Europe inside. It is not a hard discounter and not the cheapest chain in Hungary, but you can get many special foods here (glutene free bread, lactose free diary products, eco basic foods etc.). Some shops of this chain are as professional, fine and perfect as Edeka Supermarkts in Germany (yeah, true, they are both daughters of the same parent company).
