Sorry to say this place is rather ok than great, when it has the potential to be magnificent. The view is astonishing and it makes you thankful that someone built this place on this very location. With the great wine selection served here, there is just no way to have a bad time. Except if you have bad luck with the kitchen... Have to admit we came about 2 hours before closure but the food we got was cold and probably prepared well before we even ordered it. Looking at other comments this seems to be a trend here and the kitchen needs some development if this great establishment wants to be here in the next 10-15 years as well.

The quality of food significantly dropped in the past few years. The service, such as waiters have no manner. The food didn’t taste good, it was cold and 5 of us out of 8 had diarrhea right after our meal. Only the view remained the one as it used to be: spectacular. So if you’re planning to go to the Kisfaludy Restaurant, have no high expectations for the food.

Tasty food, friendly and professional staff. Highly recommended. Amazing view of the Balaton. Keep in mind that is on the hill so some sport will be required if you go by walk.

Poor service, people go only because of very good view and they can't even think more. Quality of food is very poor and over priced. Not very impressed. They make you rush to finish the meal because only business is important for them. Guests have no value for them. I don't think I will ever plan to visit this place. There are many other much better options around. 1 star only because of the view.

Great location, good service and delicious food. Recommend for all.
