Barabásszegi Vendégház és Turista Pihenöhely

The Barabásszegi Guesthouse is nice, tidy, comfortable, clean, very well equipped, and the host is very kind. Yes, the mecca of a tired blue hiker. The place is beautiful! Nearby there is Lake Kustánszeg, which I risk is better than Lake Balaton, but no one will know, because then there will be no place to bathe in it. The owner of Barabásszegi Vendégfogadó és Turistapihenő bears the tired bones of tourists very much in his heart, and in addition to the beautiful accommodation, he has built a magnificent resting place next to his house at 62 Fő utca on the other side. If there is no more space in the accommodation, (which can very easily happen) and there is no fortress to go on and you are ready for a sheltered indoor local brawl, you will probably allow the owner of the accommodation to stay there. This is the dream of blue hiking.

The section of the blue tour in front of Barabásszeg requires a full effort. A human-height nettle should be evicted between torn electrical wires. A real oasis to arrive at the guest house. The owner is careful and helpful, the house is on a tasteful, pleasant terrace. It is a great place to rest for a night or even a week. If you don't want to stay here, I still recommend a resting place next to the house for a breather.

Correct accommodation, nice hospitality. We were perfectly accommodated in the guest house, well equipped. Agota was kind and had a dinner for us on Saturday. The only thing h in the gas stove is just low power burners so if we want to cook something slower than usual.

We stayed on a blue tour on a December weekend, booked in advance. The house was heated, the owners were kind and helpful. The kitchen and bathroom were clean, the beds were comfortable. I can recommend it to anyone who is planning to spend a longer or shorter time in the village.
