Lazy Jack Pub & Caffe

Terrible and rude service. Ordered 2 beers, unfortunately didn't notice the tiny sign which states "cash only". To make up for our mistake we walked 20-30 mins to get cash out and returned (didn't have to). Lady left our beers which obviously went stale. Asked for a fresh beer upon return, was greeted with hostility and told to p*ss off even after offering to pay for the old and new drinks. Their loss as I went across the road and bought a drink (which accepted card). They don't deserve a single forint based on my experience. I recommend peron pizzeria across the road.

Good and cheap iced coffee, better price than any coffee on the corso.

Extremely poor and rude service. I am not Hungarian so couldn’t read the sign that said ‘no card payments’ (also was not told they don’t accept card, despite all of the other local bars I visited accepting card) out of courtesy I walked 20 minutes to an atm to get cash, upon arrival I asked nicely that I would like a new beer and not the stale beer that had been waiting for 20 minutes and got a reply of ‘piss off’(along with some other words I could not understand - which I am sure were rude) despite also offering to pay for the new and the old drinks. I know food and drink laws and I do not need to pay for any food or drink that I would not want, whether it be cold food or a stale beer.

Awesome experience ... it was cool place to spend some time relaxing after 1 and half hour train journey from Deli
