Maurus restaurant is a very overrated place! Service staff is good but the chef has no idea what he is doing! Duck was overcooked to a grey disgusting dry piece of meat! The salmon was as well overcooked! Home made French fries dry and tasteless! Mushrooms was from a can 100% but they did not confess that it was! Overall the food was a big no no! The waiter was awesome by that doesn’t justify the food or the prices that they charge for this second or third class preparatory the food! Don’t spend your money at this place!

Rather overrated. Chef does look clueless, so would agree with the previous review. We also sat next to the owners, who were shouting so loud it was impossible to enjoy our night. Some meals were nice, but still not great value for price. Disappointed, would not recommend.

The service was really helpful the dishes met out expectations, a definite recommend.

The food here is very good and quite refined, with decent-sized portions. The raspberry gazpacho was delicious, with not such an intense berry flavour as you might imagine. It wasn't chilled however, and should have been served cold on such a hot day. The service was good but I would expect it to be more polished considering the image the restaurant is trying to be achieve.

Great food and friendly service in a modern pleasant setting near the beach.
