quiet, beautiful and old small village

The Doll Museum in Tihany was founded in 1994 and all its material is a private collection containing typical works of almost all German doll workshops from 1840 to 1920. Placed in half-century children's scenes, which are complemented by contemporary miniature toys, home furniture (eg theater, apartment, grocery store, kitchen) and other props, they describe aristocratic and bourgeois tastes (housing, dress culture) and the lifestyle of Biedermeier and Reformation in general. . In addition, some of the museums represent the most characteristic costumes of Hungarian folk costume culture on newly made art dolls.
