Endrődi Sándor park

The work of Béla Raffay, the bronze bust of Sándor Endrődi placed on the red sandstone postman of Almádi was published on the occasion of the Endrődi-Jókai Day. The work was unveiled by the students of the Eldrőd Primary School in Alsóőr. Sándor Endrődi (Veszprém, 1850 - Budapest, 1920) poet, writer and correspondent of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences lived in Alsóőr. His statue was set in a tastefully designed park between a medical office and a supermarket.
