The memorial site for tourists near Katalinpuszta provides an opportunity for the main drive in memory of Pál Rockenbauer.

RP's memory is worthily preserved in the soft lap of nature, but the signage of the otherwise short road informative - what is informative, whatever! after the starting sign at the first, 3rd (!) fork in the right direction, then at the next, 2nd at the left, then it is unnecessary to pick up to the right, it is enough to continue straight ahead until the hiking sign points sharply to the left. From there, a very pleasant path leads through the woods to the memorial site, for which it is worthwhile for the hiker to overcome these obstacles. Memorial and environment - if we drive purposefully, without wasting unnecessary energy on logging roads that lead nowhere, at 30 degrees and 140% humidity - 5.

A cultured memorial site with an information board. Dried, aged wreaths should be removed from the headstone periodically. Thus, the inscription on the headboard is no longer visible.

Pál Rockenbauer is a hiker, world traveler, television editor, and one of the creators of Hungarian television nature film. Most of them are known for their bluegrass touring films and for their series of Fifteen Million Steps in Hungary repeatedly on TV, and… and one Million Steps for them.

Your big predecessor ... He deserves a few minutes of silence. Must see. There is a path that leads up the cliff and it leads down to the main road. Straight to the bus stop. Recommended for hiking tourists. Those who arrived by car were back on the same road as they came.
