Izraelita temető

This is an amazing sight if you are visiting the city as a tourist. You can feel like traveling in a lost history. It is also the first official Jewish heritage monumental sight in whole Hungary. It is very easy to reach it on foot from the bus station and the train station.

The military cemetery of those killed during the First and Second World Wars is located behind the Jewish cemetery. Among other monuments, a pedestal with a granite slab is installed here, on which are carved some of the names of 438 Soviet soldiers who died near the town of Balashadyarmat at the end of the Second World War and were buried here.

It looks like a reserved home.
